so i figured i'd go ahead and post my home picture even though technically it's already posted. our first one is on sienna's blog at the bottom of one of her entries so you might have missed it.you can't miss this.
this is my home base for three whole glorious months. my little vacation home for the sunny days ahead (and maybe a few rainy or cloudy ones here and there.) i even get my very own playmate!
chalice and i have already decided we're gonna do a bunch of biking this summer. for two weeks we'll be camp counselors (joining ranks with scott and mikey, only different location) at a country club camp five miles away. i used to bike everywhere before i had a license, after which i biked nowhere. ever. the idea of biking is novel to me now! and thrilling. i can get myself places for free! no gas prices. no asking permission for the car. and no hot car to get into at the end of a hot july day. so we've made up our minds to bike the long country road that leads to camp and back. everyday. no exceptions. if someone needs a ride the can bring a skate board and a rope.
my favorite spot at the moment. right in my front yard. it's where i read, have my morning devotions or just sit and talk with chalice.
was in the middle of cutting this up for my sandwich today and had to stop and takes its picture. split avacados are so pleasant looking.
my arts and crafts area: a permanent spot i've set up for myself on my dining room table where i can cut, glue, tape, tear, write, and stamp to my heart's content. only problem with areas like these is that the longer they exist the more they expand. when i use my bedroom floor to make stuff, the mass of magazine clippings (pile of ones to keep and ones to throw out), vogue magazines, stickers, stamps and sharpees takes over every inch of stepping space. usually just to make one card. so i'm at a table now and desperately trying to keep the mass under control.

oh and youre wearing the chelseydress... dang i want one!
i've said it once and this will prob not be the last time. you have such a wonderful way of looking at the world. you have a well developed sense of balance and color and structure that i really appreciate. nice junk pile. mine start off like that and eventually take over entire rooms. i cant keep it in a permanent location for too long. it grows too quickly. i believe that i will make you a collage and send it to you in the mail. i will i will.
you wannna send me a crafty letter?
I like your summer. Avocados, bike rides, a quaint morning reading spot, and craftiness.
Plus you have trees and I don't.
