my running trail
this summer i'm trying to run at least three times a week. and if i can't run, just walk. walk jember. walk myself. walk with my friends. just get out and excercise, clear my head and be outside. my town is pretty much begging me to run around in it with all the sidewalks and beautiful views and big trees that provide big puddles of shade along my way. i've really started to look forward to my daily jogs. so much that i start sprinting at first and totally kill myself. need to work on that pacing myself thing.
anybody got any good running tunes? lady sovereign and the fray are getting old.

if i were running, i'd listen to the innocence mission (of course..aah) or feist's new cd (so good) or good ol' peter bjorn and john. i'd say those'd be my running choices. i wouldn't know good running music though--i swim. much easier on the joints! (we'll all be old geezers soon enough.) and it's just so quiet and calming and refreshing. a nice little break from reality. aaand you can't tell that you're sweating! you oughtta try it sometime.

but whatever floats yer boat!
water floats mine.

hahhhh haaah... pun intended. yeah, it's past my bedtime. some people get slaphappy when they're tired. annie makes bad puns and refers to herself in the third person.

pun is such an odd word. it reminds me of an old puritan woman with a beehive hairdo.

oh dear. i'm sorry. i've lost my mind. this is what happens when i go too long without a camera. sigh.

Do you like upbeat running music then? I always like Beck- Guero. The Beach Boys get me going too, actually. Cake? You've got an okay mix already! ;) I don't think you listen to any ska, but I love working out to it if you do. Do you know Tegan and Sara? Maybe not the best act, but I liked running to them. And Wilco too! Also, music from the 80's. oh yeah.
And that trail is so pretty! I would probably be running more if it could be there! I'm glad you're taking advantage of it. Love you!!

well... i listen to the "upstairs mix". it's perfect everytime.

i am running\walking with you when i get home, thats for sure... we'll keep eachother going. im walking here too, every other day and i love it! i keep meaning to bring my camera along or bring you along...but i always forget both. It's a trail all through the woods and theres this part where it opens up and every time i walk through it i think the same thing... "dang. i wish kyrie were here."

i say that you listen to my dog fiddy. das right, fiddy cent. actually, i like listening to innocence mission as well. and the fray were old long ago, actually before they even started.

the fray is actually really good for running...even if they are lacking in originality.

now annie, that's what i call a comment. it's about time you started blogging. you've got the pictures, you've got the words, you've got the imagination...what's the hold up?

kyrie, you could run OR sleep to the innocence mission. you could eat or or drive or water flowers or cry or laugh or ride bikes or read books or paint portraits or go fishing or climb a mountain or write a letter to the innocence mission.

at least, i could.

aaand... well, i suppose there's not really any sort of hold up in my getting a blog. maybe i just should.

Oh my goodness! Where to start? I think I would always be in a different mode of what type of music. The Beatles, Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Eat World, The Walkmen, The Anniversary, The Zombies, Daft Punk, Big Band Swing (my favorite!), The Beach Boys, Sia, Arcade Fire....only to name a few!

(If you haven't heard Arcade fire, you should check them out!)

ya ya, arcade fire.
