today was my day off. wednesday. and it happened to be jo's and sienna's as well so we all dragged ourselves out of bed, packed our bags with books, sunglasses and ritz crackers and headed to the beach. IT WAS PERFECT! no rushing, good parking spot, good company on the beach and warm water! or at least not biting cold. last time i went to the beach in July the water was freezing and i had to run in, gasping for air and waited until my body went numb so i could start boogy boarding. i guess it needed a month. which reminds meHappy August everyone!
yikes. i thought the day would never come. how can summer collapse so quickly? it just started.
