sienna and i don't usually dress alike. yesterday we were in linnea and ben's wedding as bridemaids. i think saturday was the most relaxing day i've had all summer! woke up late, ate breakfast that mrs. townsend had prepared for us (eggs, sausage, fruit, cereral) and did next to nothing until 4:00. i busied myself ironing my dress for 45 minutes and walking the long country roads for nearly an hour. From 4:00 to 7 was the very strenuous activity of pampering ourselves in the master suite. lotion, makeup, hair, curlers, hairspray, flowers, heels, flat irons, perfume and lipgloss took over that carpeted little haven until the phone rang at 7:03. We click-clacked through the house and out the back door and through the browning grass to where 300 people were waiting to see linnea become Mrs. Taylor. No wedding is as surreal as one in which your friend is getting married. look at my flickr site to see my beautiful friend in all her bridal glory.
after the ceremony my almost-whole family went out onto the pier and very nearly knocked ourselves into the river. lowen, we missed you littlebuddy.

Papa's really starting to look like a gangster with these diverse colored Kangol hats that are cordinated to match his outfets. So fresh.
